To inspect all hazardous equipment – ie. detail inspections and visual inspections, all repairs carried out when necessary. Authorized person, issuing Permits to Work and authorizing them. To fill in and prepare reports with all relevant information on documents, get all docs signed off by the superintendent and supply the client with finished Atex register. Ensure that everything complies with all Atex legislation and insure all drawings and schematics are up to date. Implement and input info using the Scarda system.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning the work efficiently in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Ordering materials and ensuring that the correct materials are on site when required
- Interpretation of site drawings and project information
- Carrying out Installation & Inspection works on site
- Assisting with testing and commissioning of installations
- Liaising with other contractors
- Monitor and inspect the quality of work on site to ensure work is meets the standards
- Undertaking and recording statutory inspections of plant and equipment
- Report all accidents, incidents and near misses
- Respect the environment, implement control measures where applicable to protect the environment

- Dutch VCA Qualification and NEN3140 advantageous
